Farah Irina is an advocate & solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. She was called to the bar in 2005 and is a partner of Farida & Company, a 3 person, all-women team of advocates and solicitors of the High Court of Malaya specialising in civil, criminal and conveyancing practice

Farah’s niche area is dealing with complex commercial disputes. She develops legal strategies and provides creatives legal solutions for clients. She mitigates risks and often is consulted for her ability to see through things that cannot be easily seen. For her unique legal sense, she is regarded as the “Strategist” of the firm. Farah is now in her 16th year of practice and is based in Farida & Company’s KL Office.

Farah has represented clients in all tiers of court in Malaysia. Throughout her legal career, she has been a panel lawyer for a major newspaper publication advising and defending defamation lawsuits, panel lawyer for a major developer advising and defending housing development claims and panel lawyer for all the major banks in Malaysia advising on banking litigation. Her general litigation experience includes various employment and industrial relations disputes, tort and negligence lawsuits, contractual disputes, judicial reviews, contentious trust and probate claims.

The 3 partners are all litigators and have a combined experience of 45 years in practice. Farah competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in 2004 and represented Malaysia, an advocacy competition for law students. She loves the law and has a natural ability to navigate it. Legal research is her forte.
